AIRPORT

Whilst with glam-rock band Hush, Keith Lamb was arguably Australia's best front man of the 1970s along with Bon Scott. On the sad passing of Scott, Lamb was considered as a replacement for AC/DC. Lamb lived for performing and was heartbroken when Hush split up. In 1979 he formed Airport with Tony Harvey (ex The Runners), Robin Jackson (ex-Cheek) and Brian Pitcher (ex The Jim Keays Band). They signed with Infinity and released three singles between 1981 and 1982 before disbanding. Airport produced some great stuff, but none had the commercial success of Hush.
