THE HENDRY SISTERS

The Hendry Sisters (Tina, Vicky, and Tina) were a popular act around Adelaide, South Australia in the second half of the 1960s, and made many local TV appearances on shows like Adelaide Tonight. The girls were 19, 16, and 14, in 1968 when they gained national exposure by reaching the finals of the Showcase '68 TV program. They also recorded what turned out to be their only single '' Bimbo / It's Such A Pretty World'' later that year on the RCA label. It reached #9 on the local radio Top 40 hit list. The sisters went to the UK in 1969 because of their fathers' work commitments. They landed a gig on the passenger liner Queen Elizabeth which travelled between London and New York. Their performances were lauded by all who watched them. When on dry land they appeared on TV shows like The Charlie Drake Show. In the summer of 1971, they performed at various seaside resorts as support act in the Max Bygraves Show. I have no further info on what happened to The Hendry Sisters after this. Please help.
